The Community Awards are your chance to nominate people in the town who have contributed to the community – whether that it is through helping, promoting the town or in some other way that is a benefit to the town.
The Community Awards evening will be on Friday 5th October in the Community Centre (7:30pm for 8pm start) where we will be thanking those people for their contribution. The categories are Lifetime award (for someone who has made a big contribution or who has made a long contribution to the town), Under 18 male or female, Adult male or female and Group.
Everyone is welcome to the evening where there will be a free buffet, free live entertainment and a pay bar.
There is a nomination form in the September Pump and there will also be forms available in the Post Office, Paper Shop and Community Centre along with boxes to post your nominations form. You can also nominate someone by using the ‘Leave a Reply’ section below. Please can you make clear the reason that you are nominating that person as well as what category you are nominating them for.
